The Selection Process
The Selection process is confidential. The Selection Committee is an independent group, comprised of business women from across the Durham Region. The Committee will consider only the information provided on the nomination form and supporting documents. No woman may nominate herself.
NOMINATION
- Review the criteria and guidelines.
- In a separate one-page letter explain why this person should be nominated.
- Fill out a nomination form and include a $40.00 submission fee for each entry.
- Submit your completed entry ( submission letter, fee, waiver and nomination form) by 5:00 pm, Monday, October 18, 2010 by mail or courier, ( Emails not acceptable) to:

Nominations received after the deadline or minus the fee, will not be accepted.
Attend the Nominee’s Gathering on Thursday evening, October 28, 2010 with your nominee.
Purchase tickets to the event to support your nominee. Tickets are available for purchase from Monica Olenroot at 905-426-8822 or via www.benefitsforwomen.ca.
The ticket price is $85.00 per person and $99.00 per person after November 7, 2010.
Guidelines
Submission should highlight at least 2 of the eligibility criteria. Please provide specific details and dates as to start and success of business and community work, as well as nominee’s current resume.
Individual achievements awards for work and/or community - making a difference.
Contribution to the well being of the community or women in general - educate, support and encourage female counterparts - teens, youth or peers.
NOTE to all Nominators & Nominees: Please retain copies of all documents, letters, etc. submitted for the nomination process for future reference.
